How do you respond to suffering?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 25, 2008:
First, awareness that suffering is arising....
Then, acceptance and allowing of the suffering.... feeling in the body without denying....
acceptance that suffering is here in this moment, without judgement...
Then, looking at the cause of suffering.... what is the mind holding onto? Is it true?Do I want to follow this thought that is causing suffering and continue down this track to further suffering, for not only myself, but others as well ?
Turn and face the source of all thought...

This is a different way of thinking and I was thinking the same topic differently.
Yes, we can see these questions from different angles : )
I'll add a quote I read somewhere that stayed in the memory…
” Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional”…
May you enjoy a peaceful day.
I agree with this. While Mahatma Gandhi and Great Sage Ramana had to undergo surgery , both of them refused Anesthestic and kept their mind away from the body part underwent surgery,
I bow to you.
